Andros Pelecanos

One of the firm’s co-founders, Andros was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2000. As one of Cyprus’ most highly respected criminal litigators, he uses a pro-active approach to criminal defence, achieving phenomenal results in some of the highest profile and complex cases.  

Andros’ areas of expertise include extradition law, representing individuals facing complex and high-profile extradition proceedings. He has been instructed in many key cases concerning alleged financial misconduct, issues of political corruption and human rights conditions before both the District Courts and the Supreme Court. He also helps clients with the removal of INTERPOL Red Notices and applications for access to information held by INTERPOL.

Andros prides himself on focusing on strategy and implementation/decision making at the very early stages of an investigation of a case, as this can make the difference between being charged with an offence or not.
